The system components to process the clinch studs

All tool components are retrieved from a standard modular system. In this way, punching heads and dies can be matched within very short time. There are different systems for feeding the nuts. The best possible solution can be configured for every part or every customer.

Feeding unit

  • Feeding system with up to 6 lines
  • Up to 2 different stud types can be processed simultaneously
  • PLC control with graphic display
  • Interfaces for communication with press and tool
  • Studs are blown by compressed air to the tool
  • Mobile

Segment feeder

  • Max. four feeding lines
  • PLC with graphic display
  • Interfaces for press and tool communication
  • Pneumatic screw injection into the tooling

Vibration feeder

  • Max. four feeding lines
  • PLC with graphic display
  • Interfaces for press and tool communication
  • Pneumatic screw injection into the tooling

Clinch blocks

Simple modular design for intefration in punch and press units and special systems..

  • Integrated sensors for process monitoring
  • Press fits possible in deep edge recesses
  • Max. 40 strokes per minute
  • On request CAD data for your application

Dies and die holder

The dies are manufactured from high-quality tool steel for an assured long servie life. Standardised dies ensure the optimal press fit in the sheet metal.

The GS 25 die mount for clinch studs is provided as a complete ready-to-fit unit. The die can be installed and replaced quickly and easily.

Quick couplings

Arnold & Shinjo quick connect coupling systems are characterised by their compact design and by ease of handling. Therefore, it is just a matter of seconds to remove a conveyor unit from the tool or to re-connect it. Due to intelligent protection a loss of nuts from the system is impossible.
