Application in the press tool

In the punch and press shop the system solution, consisting of fastening element and tool, can bring to bear its advantages to the full extent, because processing of the fastening elements is integrated into the manufacturing process of the sheet metal parts. Processing tied to the tool warrants maintenance of the position tolerances of the fastening components. The fastening element is connected to the sheet in one work step. Clinching and piercing process leave a clean environment behind them. Production of scrap is prevented to a large extent. A rapid cycle frequency is ensured while at the same time the number of work steps can be reduced. At the end of the process a complete finished sheet metal part results containing the required fastening elements.
